Description:
The Greater Flamingo is one of six Flamingo species in the world, and one of only two species in the 'old world'. The Greater Flamingo is the largest in size, and the most wide-spread species. It is doubtful they breed in Russia, but populations south of there may sometimes fly a short-distance north to visit. They are not endangered, and their inclusion in the Red Data Book series seems odd.

Milled at intervals.
